TEMPERATURE DURING THE PRODUCTION PROCESS:

• Classic chunk: By adding pressure & heat, the temperature rises to well above 100C°. That high temperature creates the 'crispy' chunks.

• Cold-pressed chunk: Raw materials are pressed through a die at a temperature of 75°C. The lower temperature makes these chunks softer.

NUTRIENTS ARE BETTER PRESERVED

• Heat damages nutrients and flavor.

• The lower the temperature, the more the ingredients will retain their original & qualitative state.

DIGESTIBILITY IS MUCH EASIER

• The chunks 'fall apart' more quickly upon arrival in the dog's stomach.

PROTECTING OUR CLIMATE

• Temperature of the production process is lower = less energy consumption.

• Chunks are pressed -> they take up less space -> more energy / nutrients in the same mass.

• Grains or carbohydrates do not decompose at a temperature of 75°C, so they are cooked in advance.
